We left the city park this morning and got to Albertsons to stock up for the ride. Most of the Adventure riders were still in camp so we said our goodbyes. The most notable thing were the mosquitos. They were everywhere, causing most to put on their rain wear or bug netting for some protection. It made breaking camp a speed event. The bugs never let up and in Malta we were told that Lewis and Clark made notes in their journals that the mosquitos were very heavy in this part of there journey. We had favorable wind and fast flying mosquitos to keep us going and made it to Saco by 4 including a 2 hour stop in Malta for lunch and a tour of the dinosaur museum. 77 miles in total.
